Denali is interesting. The "popular" face of Denali is commercialism on a grand scale, appealing to people wanting to devote a full weekend to "roughing it", without too much inconvenience or attendant suffering.
The other face of Denali presents actual wildness that can inflict real suffering and danger. This face is much less accessable so that the weekenders are not going to concern themselves with it.
I find myself with the weekender group. Denali offers more "wildness" than I need, or want. I have no need to experience all the wildness that Denali offers.
