"Friendly Canadians Eh"?

Yesterday, travelling down CA1 to Congdon Creek Campground, we passed through the small town of Beaver Creek. Wanting something to eat  Chris decided to stop at "Buckshot Betty's". Upon entering, we encountered Buckshot and Mr. Buckshot. Mr. Buckshot threw menus on the table and stated the coffee was self serve. Then Buckshot herself came to the table, with a pronounced scowl on her face. Noting her demeanor, Chris asked if he could order a pizza. Buckshot made it clear he was not getting any stinking pizza, he would have to order something that was quick to fix, like a burger. So he order a Buckshot Betty Burger. Then, another person came in and sat down. Buckshot promptly informed him the sign said "CLOSED" and threw him out. Now a bit intimidated, Chris ate his burger quietly. After eating, he wanted to use the bathroom but was afraid to ask where it was. I told him if he did inquire, Buckshot would "kick his ass", so we paid the bill and left. I don't think Buckshot is helping the "nice Canadian' image. Needless to say, Buckshot did not get a tip.
