Great day of riding. We saw our first bear, a black bear, and quite large. Also a dead moose and a dead SUV that had hit the moose. Police were there, hope the driver is alright.
Supposed to dip into the 30's tonight. Like riding in the late fall in Arkansas.
There is a French bicyclist here. He started in Anchorage, rode over the Top of the World Highway and is heading to Vancouver Island. Wow.
Burns Lake is a nice little town with about everything a traveller meeds. And a municipal park with free campsites on a nice lake. Hard to beat that deal.
An update on the French bicyclist. He has already ridden through Europe and now is heading to Patagonia. Simply amazing.
