Around Haines

 People in sweatshirts and down jackets. Overcast and chilly day. Looking at the mountains, which surround the town, I see areas of snow remaining from last winter's accumulation, with a few areas extending below the timberline, which is only around 3,000 feet here. 

They don't actually have summer here. Not in any way I can understand, anyway. Beautiful to look at but I wouldn't stay here. The height of summer here is early winter at home.

    What did you do to the sun? Put it back!!! Pictures from the previous post represent a total different place. This looks cold and wet.
